The Open Directory data,is a hierarchical Web directory, organized by subject. A Shared project managed by http://www.dmoz.org/add.html and is used by such as AOL Search, DirectHit, HotBot, Google, Lycos, Netscape Search, etc. It required you to go into the Catagory page, Than sub-catagory page. Click on add url (or change url) Fill in the url, title, discription and optional Email address. My site is a broad range of topics and have started Catagory pages for folks interested only only in certain catagories but it works well for this kind of thing. Yes, it is a lot of work, but a lot of hits come from them. my Dmoz Submission Information page which I am Working on Now. Yahoo!
