Tomorrow

 The sun'll come out
 Tomorrow
 Bet your bottom dollar
 That tomorrow
 There'll be sun!
   Just thinkin' about
 Tomorrow
 Clears away the cobwebs,
 And the sorrow
 'Til there's none!
   When I'm stuck a day
 That's gray,
 And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
 And Grin,
 And Say,
 Oh
   The sun'll come out
 Tomorrow
 So ya gotta hang on
 'Til tomorrow
 Come what may
   Tomorrow!
 Tomorrow!
 I love ya
 Tomorrow!
   You're always
 A day
 A way!

Annie is looking forward to a better tomorrow,
This spunkly orphan who had to fend for herself,
traveling through the small towns of America, she
met do-gooders, crooked politicians, gangsters,
nazis. The supernatural, ghosts, leprechauns,
and Mr. Am, who lived millions of years.
Annie got by with her wits and the eternial
optomism that things would be getter Tomorrow

I've seen the play: Sally Struthers as Miss Hannigan
took down the house. As in life, the only small
parts are those not played well.
