John was laying in bed, he did not have much time left and he knew it. John was always focused on the Bottom Line and was wondering if that was the most important thing in life. While wondering if he has wasted his life or lived the life he was born to live. An Angel appeared, saying, Fear not, for I am not the angel of Death, but a messenger from the creator who knows your thoughts. Your time is not yet. You still have time before The angel of Death comes for you.

The Angel continued to say: We all have a reason for being and a contribution to make. The Creator make no one with out worth. The contribution may simply be to be a loving person or to invent or discover something. To bring children into the world, or make the world better. Some have a "Life Work" found in things we enjoy and love, even if not paid. Because our life work is inherently service to others, it is inherently good.

John said: Angel, should I live a life of service poverty and sacrifice? The Angel said: The Creator made you to Laugh, Learn, Sing, Dance, Love, be Happy, Make others Happy, Live Life fully and respect your fellow creations, take only what you need and, if you can, leave a Legacy. Your New life starts Today.

And John said: Yes! Today is the first day of the rest of my life, and I shall live it as I should.
John was as good as his word, he spread joy to all, everyone was happy to see him. His life was rich and filled with friends. When the Angel of Death Finally came for him. All were saddened by his passing, but he was Happy because he lived a life of Purpose.
