Alexander the Great

Alexander the Great, known in history as conquring the entire know world by age 21.
Anyway, the Egyptians were oppressed by Persian rule, and they welcomed Alexander the Great in 332 B.C. So they gave up Egypt with out a fight.
Alexander the Great; when at the Oracle of Amon, at Siwa, was declared "the son of Amon." From that point on Alexander was the son of god.
A pharaoh. (Amen also called: Amon, Amun, Ammon, Amoun."The Hidden One." was a self created and primary god)
Alexander started to build Alexandria, but not liking political dutues mush, left Egypt in 331 B.C. leaving Cleomenes of Naukratis in charge.

When Alexander the Great died, Ptolemy and Alexander's other generals divided the kingdom. Ptolemy got Egypt as his share and became the Pharaoh.
During his long life, Egypt became prosperous while under Ptolemy's reign before he handed over Egypt's management to his son, Ptolemy II. And the Ptolemaic Dynasty which led to Cleopatra was thus started.

Ptolemy, a Greek general was ancestor to Cleopatra. The Ptolemies were Macedonian in decent, but ruled as Egyptian Pharaohs. Cleopatra was the last of the true Pharaohs of Egypt before it was taken over by Rome.
