Courage is to face danger, difficulty, uncertainty, pain and fear but take action anyway. Courage is less the towering oak that weathers great storms than the fragile flower blossom that opens in the snow. Courage seems lofty and hard, it's really better to face the world as it is, than, as a child, avoiding what dose not comfortability suit our view. Decisions based on wrong assumptions will ALWAYS give wrong answers. So it is easier to do the hard thing once and get it over with than keep avoiding it and living with Fear, defensiveness, self-criticism, resentment, hurt, helplessness and doubt. Be honest about everything, Courage is the key getting past this self-deception. courageous folks feel fear, but manage it. Courage is about doing what we fear anyway. It is also about being true to ourselves. Do what we KNOW is right. No need to impress or get approval from anyone else.
