Every thing we touch leaves a fingerprint on time. Every thing we do leaves a fingerprint on time. Every thing we say leaves a fingerprint on time. Whatever we put our hand to leaves a fingerprint on time. Some great, some small but time is marked by then all. We have just so much time to make our mark. So the world will be made better by our life. That the world in enriched by our having been. Or the world made worse by our presence. And the world is better rid of us. The progress of the human race has always been the accumulation of good from our ancestors. That we add to this good, we gain a kind of immortality. For that good which we added to the world will be part of future generations. Maybe our name will not be known. Maybe our likeness will not be shown. But our influence will be felt. Our ideas, our concepts will live on. For that is really our very soul. Every thing we touch leaves a fingerprint on time. |
