| Now I am not a great lover of Rules. |
Or as The Delai Lama says: Learn the rules so you know how to Break them Properly. |
Do Not to be confused with the rule of gold, those with the gold rule! That is NOT the Golden rule. |
| But only those with Low self Esteem who lust for Gold so they can feel Adaquit. |
As Rules go, the "Golden Rule" is one of the best. Few or No exceptions. |
Almost like a Law of Natural Science which is always true and the answer to most Social, psychological, Political and Religious questions. |

Act toward others as you would desire them to act towards you. All things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, o ye even so to them. Avoid doing what you would blame others for doing. Be charitable to all beings, love is the representative of God. Blessed is he who preferreth his brother before himself. Cherish reciprocal benevolence, which will make you as anxious for another's welfare as your own. Do as you would be done by. Do naught to others which, if done to thee, would cause thee pain; this is the sum of duty. Do not do to others that which would anger you if others did it to you. Do not do to others what would anger you if done to you by others Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. Do not that to a neighbor which you shall take ill from him. Do not to others what you would not like others to do to you. Do not to your neighbor what you would take ill from him. Do not unto others what you would not have them do unto you Do not wrong or hate your neighbor. For it is not he who you wrong, but yourself. Do unto another what you would have him do unto you, and do not to another what you would not have him do unto you. Thou needest this law alone. It is the foundation of all the rest. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Don't create enmity with anyone as God is within everyone. He should not wish for others what he does not wish for himself. Hurt not others in ways that you yourself would find hurtful. In happiness and suffering, in joy and grief, we should regard all creatures as we regard our own self Neither does a wise man cause violence to others nor does he make others do so. No one of you is a believer until he desires for his brother that which he desires for himself. One going to take a pointed stick to pinch a baby bird should first try it on himself to feel how it hurts. One should treat all beings as he himself would be treated. One word that can serve as a principle of conduct for life is reciprocity. Do not impose on others what you yourself do not desire. Respect for all life is the foundation. That nature only is good when it shall not do unto another whatever is not good for its own self. The law imprinted on the hearts of all men is to love the members of society as themselves. The wise man makes the self of the people his self. This is the sum of duty: do naught unto others which would cause you pain if done to you. Treat your inferiors as you would be treated by your superiors. Try your best to treat others as you would wish to be treated yourself, this is the shortest way to benevolence. We obtain salvation by loving our fellow man and God. We should conduct ourselves toward others as we would have them act toward us. What a man dislikes in his superiors, let him not do to his inferiors ... What is hateful to you, do not to your fellow man. That is the law: all the rest is commentary What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others. What you wish your neighbors to be to you, such be also to them. What you would avoid suffering yourself, seek not to impose on others Whatever is disagreeable to yourself do not do unto others. Wish not for others what ye wish not for yourselves | ||
