Grand Father

Grand Father, How may we be Wise like you?
My Children, Along your life you will See Much, You will Heard much. Of what you see and hear you must think long and hard as to what is True and what is Not, what is Important and what is Not, and take Counsel from Wise men.

Grand Father, Is not one wrong if one is doing something different than an other?
My Children, Each must travel their own path and in their own way. Do not judge an other until you have walked in their moccasins for a mile.

Grand Father, How do we know we are doing the right thing?
My Children, Ask the Creator for the Serenity to accept the things you cannot change, the Courage to change the things you can and the Wisdom to know the difference. Live One Day at a time. Enjoy one moment at a time, be at Peace in all you do and be reasonably happy in this life. Accept hardship if the world is not as you would have it and try to make it better than you found it.

Grand Father, How shall we make friends?
My Children, To have friends, be a friend, help if you can, at least do no harm. Treat all men fairly, be honorable in your dealings. Know they may not Always do what you say, but they will Always watch what you do. Do to all as you would have them do to you.

Grand Father? How is it that you know so much?
My Children, I have Lived Long, I have Seen Much, I have Heard much, I have Thought long about what is True and what is Not, what is Important and what is Not, and have taken Counsel from Wise men, and one of the wisest was My Grand Father.
