The path, we must each travel must be our own

  We may travel with others, it is our path alone.

  We must know who to ignore and leave alone.

  Remember where we came from, but know where we are going.

  No one can travel our path for us, for that is ours.

  We travel our own path, and our path is unique.

  We can not travel an other's path, for that is theirs

  We must know who to throw away and know who to keep.

  We must know when to dance. A dance that is ours alone.

  We must know who to follow, and whose words are true.

  We must know when to sing. It will be our own song.

  We must know who to lead and give guidance to.

  We must know who is our enemy. Who would do us harm.

  We must know who to leave and who to avoid.

  We must know who are friend, and who to give our arm.

  We must know who to listen to and who to aid.
