The Tin Man

Long ago and far away, in a land over the Rainbow, lived an Ancient Wizard who wished to leave a Legacy of Goodness so that his life would positively influence all who came after him. Such, he thought, is the only true form of Immortality on earth.

Alas, his ageing frail body was not able to keep up with his thoughts, and he knew his time was short. What was he to do? Only the Creator of All things could renew his youth and strength. The wizard set about making a Tin Man and imparting in him, his Knowledge, Wisdom, and the Desire to help mankind.

The wizard had the Tin Man almost complete except Heart of the Tin Man when he was called back home by the Creator of All Things. From his perch above the clouds, the wizard could see the good works the Tin Man was doing. Once while helping a farmer clear trees, a sudden rain storm appeared and rusted the Tin Man's moving parts tight.

The Creator of All Things (Who knows Everything) lovingly told the wizard that his Tin Man would continue to do the good he hoped for. A great tornado swept Dorothy over the Rainbow and on a path that would allow the Tin Man to continue his good works AND get a Heart.

And Dorothy found the Tin Man, restored his mobility, and brought him along on many adventures, which helped the Tin Man the difference in Good and Evil. The Tin Man learned Compassion and Love.

At the end of the adventure, Dorothy and all her friends learned things that made their lives better. The Tin Man got his Heart. Up in the clouds, the wizard rejoiced and the Greater of All Things Smiled knowingly.
